These days, I am known as a dog trainer. But my love for helping dogs came from my work at the shelter. While I was lucky to have handled and housed thousands of dogs and puppies during my career, there were many more cats.
Cats are often misunderstood, unfortunately. They are considered independent, fierce, tiny predators. We say we're “owned by the cat,” and dogs are man's best friend. But in reality, cats have much more going on than most people think. While we think of them as stoic and mysterious, they are actually very good at hiding their struggles.
Caring for cats means considering their overall lifestyle and health. Many cats are easily affected by the world around them, and their stress directly impacts their health and behaviour.
If you're dealing with litter box issues, petting aggression or any other cat problem, I can help.
Not only do I have the experience needed to help you get results, but I am a certified cat behaviour consultant through the International Association of Animal Behaviour Consultants, so you can rest assured that my work has been scrutinized by a leader in the behaviour world, and my skills are backed by veterinarians and colleagues who have worked with me.
